Q: What reading level are the scripts?
The reading level of the skits in Vol.1 is most appropriate for grades 2-3 or students in 1st grade with strong reading skills. This is based on ATOS reading analyzers, teacher feedback, and parent feedback. Most of our skits say that they are for "mixed reading levels" because every child has a different skill reading skill level. We think these skits would be useful for ESL and ESOL learners, students with special needs and/or other challenges with reading, and even kids older than 3rd grade who may be struggling with reading. Thus, we say "mixed reading levels" as not to exclude any kid who would enjoy and benefit from this activity.
